Formed in September of 1991, the Joint Municipal Fire Commission is comprised of the City of Eagle River and the towns of Cloverland, Lincoln and Washington. There is one representative from each municipality and one from the fire department who serves as chairperson. The Commission oversees the activities of the fire department. The proportionate share of the financial contribution is based on the equalized assessed value of the real estate in each municipality.
